Am I Sandboxed?

One of the websites I own (which is relatively new - 5 months old), is no longer getting any traffic from Google. I have over 1000 backlinks and in MSN SE I rank #1 for a lot of keywords. Does this mean I'm sandboxed in Google?

If so, how do I get out? How long do I have to wait?

Its seemed to have happened all of a sudden, a few months back I was getting plenty of Google traffic, and this is somewhat frustrating as my daily earnings from this site has plummeted from around $20/day to about $5.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Sorry don't have much to add, but a similar thing has happened to me a few days ago. 3 month old domain gaining SERPs, then now nowhere to be found but still indexed.

    I feel your pain.

I didn't think google could just sandbox a site if it has momentum in the SERPS.

Another theory I think which we both may be guilty of is, building links too quickly and now google has penalized us by giving no value to the backlinks, resulting in poor SERPs but still indexed in google.

Yes, I think that too could be a possibility, for another website I owned I didn't seem to get sandboxed at all (and I did little link building for the first few months), my site is also on a popular niche so this could be another possibility.

So back to my original question, how can I get out of the sandbox?
    Thanks

Building links too quickly could be one of the reasons why Google might penalize your site, but it will definitely not send your site to Google Hell.

You should be probably penalized by Google and sent to the Sandbox..
I share your pain and am sorry for you.

How much approximately did you drop?

If it was 31 - 41 or 999-1000, then it probably means you were penalized.

Sounds like sandbox.. From what I have learned from others, you should keep building your site and keep getting links when you are in sandbox.. I am doing this now for my sandboxed site

My website traffic has dropped from 6'500 daily visitor to 900 in a day as well ... This kinda sucks.

Anyhow, I have changed the server since then and I kept on building backlinks ... and after 10 days or so traffic jumped back to 4'000 daily visitors in one day again ...

I have no idea what's going on.
