I've found AdBrite don't really pay much, have you tried Google AdSense? Also maybe add another banner between your text on the page.
Here are the two ads that came up for me: 1) Model Latina Videos and 2) Be Informed: Join A Political Revolution. They have nothing to do with sports! I don't think AdBrite is that bad. But I've found that with AdBrite you have to manually approve ads. Every advert on your site should somehow be sports related.
Your ads do not relate to your website. Other than that, your traffic is most likely not targetted if you are getting that many visitors and no money.
He's not getting many visitors with an Alexa rank of 23,000,00. His visitors are just clicking the Play button a bunch of times. You need more visitors and ads that young sports game players will click.
The site has only been up a month so I don't know that the Alexa rank is representative. The actual url is www.kesslerfreedman/dynasty and I'm forwarding bethebasketballcoach.com through dotster. I think that may be hurting me. It's definitely screwing up my Google Analytics. I hope to have the domain parked instead of forwarded soon. I was running Google Ads but got no clicks so I went with Adbright to at least get the CPM banner views. The traffic is coming mostly from posts I make in college basketball forums so I think it is reasonably targetted. I don't know what you mean by advert script but I am using Adbright. 100,000 page views represents about 500 unique visitors. Up to 117,000 ad zone views today. 17 cents.
That would mean you are getting 200 pageviews from each visitor. I think you are grossly overestimating the amount of traffic you get.
Forum Traffic and just 500 uniques. And you are using Adbrite. It will be difficult to to ern much frm CPC. You might have to try private ads. Plus, you need to increase the uniques considerably, and you need either sticky visitors or search traffic to make some money
Yesterday I had 138 visitors, 85 unique and 80,487 adviews. The game generates pageviews like crazy! But no ad clicks. So how do I turn pageviews into $$$?
I also think so. I cannot imagine a single visitor visiting your pages 200x a day. Anyway, have you tried Kontera? It is a contextual link that may be able to attract your visitors. Just my 2 cents.
Not even 500 uniques. Sorry I overestimated that. But I've only hit about a half dozen basketball forums out of 250 possible. And college basketball season has not started yet. People like this game. Adbrite is one of the worst PPC companies, use their pop-ups and pop-unders better than regular text ads. Google should pay a lot better for 100K page views.
The main problem here is that your ads aren't targeted at all. I see one that tells me I can earn money buying gas, one for DirecTV, computer repair, etc. If you have targeted traffic that is interested in basketball, why would they click on these? Personally, I would find a basketball, or at least, a sports related affiliate for this site. To make money with the ads you have running on the site now, your traffic would have to be ridiculous.
i think the kid is just newbie and was trying to profit off this thread from other DP members. wishing he would have some other 'DP newbie with money' purchase ad spots on his site or something. he claims 100,000 page view in a single day but then says 500 uniques were made in that single day, but yet his alexa rank is 23 million and his avg. page view is 1.0 not even 1.1 or higher+
