Has anyone ever used this script? I just installed it and it seems to work pretty good. I was wondering what experience others have had with it.

ALso if you do use it...how can you track the performance of your link exchanges?

I have used another script for backlinks, but that's a long time ago. I recevied a lot of backlinks, and it was all done automatically. The only problem was that it didn't help me at when it came to traffic and the search engines.

So, I agree with jitendraag and would not use software for link exchanges.

Always, Google's eyes on the activities of world webmasters. They change their TOS of webmasters according the current situation. When Google displayed search result with meta keywords and webmasters started to use high and rich keywords and got high SERP even the site's contents were not related to search keywords then Goolge stopped using meta keywords on search result. Now backlink and PR. Why Google recommends us to do such things (i.e. place link on OP, with good neighborhood etc.) when already told Pages that we believe are important pages receive a higher PageRank and are more likely to appear at the top of the search results." (©2008 Google — http://www.google.com/corporate/tech.html). They simply can analyzed pages and its contents and compare with their current data and give them marked of SERP rank. Anyway what we can do:cool:.........we've to follow what Google says and it's TOS of webmasters to get some visitors and sales. :D I visit Yahoo Directory and DMOZ only for Google........otherwise who the hell uses DMOZ for searching something when Google is here. So, I think 95% of Dmoz traffic are of webmaster because I visit their website to confirm whether my website is listed or not and also for submitting some sites and hope others webmasters also do the same thing at OD. is not? :D

May be Google TOS goes sometime against webmasters I meant penalizing for using blackhat ticks to get higher SERP, but they always try to give us a proper search result of our every query. If Google not do such of things its will harmful for us. By showing accurate search result Google is helping us from ruining our time to search a thing. Otherwise, we've to do more than 10 search to find a thing which we can get it in maximum one or two search at this time. Every webmasters like me, always want to be get top serp page and do lots of things to make fulfill it. It's just a nature of almost every webmasters. Every webmasters wish to get lots of traffics, sales etc. from own sites.... So, if Google do things in favor of webmasters then whats will happen of their Google Search Box :D

manually link exchange with some relevant good reputed site is good, but we don't need to collect links from more sites to get traffic and rankings.

Less links, but from quality sites are useful for both, SE and traffic.

I haven't heard of it but I don't like the idea of it since it would bring a lot of outbound links to your site.

If the previous replies haven't made it clear enough: you should not engage in automatic link-building schemes. That said, there was a recent thread about automatically reciprocated links, where you may get some useful ideas for a link-building campaign.

SEO experts do not agree anymore Link Exchange is important and risky instead. However, i still feel exchanging links with a few number of relavant sites that you think you can manage to check and track. In this case you do not need any script. why not using normal html.
    Good Luck.

If you can do it, try a 3 way link exchange that would remove your risk if you are worried about reciprocal exchanges.
