Im owning a ebook site and thinking about driving traffic and stuff! Is PPC essential! I would invest 50/month for Adwords! Will that help me?? To make more sales??
PPC isn't essential, but it is fast (meaning you can be making sales in minutes to hours), if you know what you're doing. Of course, if you DON'T know what you're doing, it can be a huge waste of money. As for how much to spend, that depends on which keywords you're bidding on, among other things. Do some research into how PPC works and then decide if PPC sounds like it would be the best choice for you. Good luck!
^ I agree, PPC is not essential. It depends on how effective you use your marketing budget's money! If you use adwords, research & select careful keywords that will bring in great return rates, then it's effective for you. If you simply use it without doing any of this, then it's purely a hit or miss... you might be better off with other means of online marketing.
I agree, PPC is fast but not essential.I suggest PPC to get you some traffic now, but also do some blogging, post in related forums, maybe some quick utube videos and also look for some people with related products for a jv to their list. Regards
Well i know some about it correct me if Im worng. PPC means Pay-Per-Click you pay for Customers which click! The goal is to create Ads that are not expensive but have good keywords. The ads will show up randomly (depending on your budget) and attract people to your site. Than I gotta hope the cutomers make the sell...
It's definitely not essential. As others have said, if you're experienced with it, it can certainly be worthwhile.
There is a whole section for this at the forums I would tune into online marketing blogs as well or how-to ebooks. If you have specific questions regarding PPC, you can always ask them here (to help you further understand how it works). There is also the option of hiring an online marketer to do all of this for you.
Do you want a lot of traffic, instead of a few hundred a day like the others here get? Do you want to make enough money to pay your rent, and possibly more, instead of a few dollars here and there like the others here get? Then advertising is essential. If you want to make the money, you are going to have to spend the money.
PPC is not necessary....we have to use PPC only when...when our business is new and nobody is aware about our website....at that time we are in process of our website promotion....once we get the ranking in SE...then we have to reduce or stop PPC....but someone still continue PPC for setup branding of their business...and sometime they run PPC on other keywords so they can get business from those keywords also....
Yep, that's why they call it PAY per click. You can make money without investing. It just usually takes longer. Aside from looking around here and places like the Warrior Forum, you should also check out the Google Adwords site itself, since they have tutorials there to get you started. Or you can purchase Perry Marshall's Adwords guide. (there are lots of other adwords books out there, but Marshall's is pretty much the gold standard). Good luck!
The PPC advertising moreover dominated by mainstream advertisers and Fortune 500s companies, for both small and mid size company nothing best than organic search engine optimization.
okay well im a small company seeking to make 800-1000 monthly when it's all worked out i believe it's easily possible! Just gotta read learn and try...
Make sure you do your research, If your product is in a competitive market you will have to bid higher to get your ad on the first page of search results. You also need to make sure your ad are relative to your keywords or you will pay more per click. I used ppc to get my site off the ground then stopped.
You can make a ton of money driving PPC traffic, you can also lose a ton of money driving non converting PPC traffic. If you don't have a huge budget, building organic traffic is probably a safer way to go, but it takes much longer to do.
well i have 50 dollars a month! what kind of keywords should i use and how much ads should i do with that kind of little budget!
there are many tips on how you optimize your PPC budget here. for me, i agree PPC is not an essential but useful, but try to be wise in starting a PPC campaign.
