I have been on DP for a while but got active back a few weeks ago, thanks to PHP. In the last 1-2 weeks I learned the 75% PHP I know. I specialize in mainly cURL, Mysql connections and a few other feilds. I plan to create a few basic scripts and release them for php beginners, from user management(fully advanced) to forums. Mainly I try to focus on creating cURl script for webmasters to retrieve data from other websites. Not gonna give out more info. If you are interested, PM me with your info in the following format:

    Name:
    E-mail:MSN/YAHOO

    Thanks!
NOTE: I have GMT+5:30, I might logout after half an hour or early.

So basically you're pretty new to PHP and expect some people to work for you for free? Why?

    a) I am in PHP for around an year.
    b) Ther are not WORKING for ME. I am forming a team, with a name acceptable by all, and everyone given credit of their work. All big php projects arent done by a single guy.
    c) A few things I coded outta randomeness:

    http://gator586.hostgator.com/~lmao/rapid-tools/acccheck.php
    http://animehorizon.in/
An UNFINISHED RPG which i deleted due to frustration.

I apologize, this line "In the last 1-2 weeks I learned the 75% PHP I know." made you sound like a beginner. Because, y'know, 75% is a lot.

Well, I don't like to be the party pooper but neither of these scripts look very big or professional... Coding a forum that is not just a basic one is a lot of work, and you have to know things about optimizing MySQL queries and security.

But don't let me stop you from trying, of course

That meant, if the PHP I know shall be called 100%, i got the 75% in the last few days, and yes the scripts might not look professional, and thats why this thread is here, to make professional PHP projects, if anyone wanna join me in this, PM me.

I define beginner as somebody who doesn't know a lot or has recently not known a lot, not somebody who has recently started with something

I'd consider joining, but I just don't see what you have to offer

What exactly you require? Payment? Credit? I basically want to create a few scripts with some programmers, each will do equal work. If someone requires money from the work, we can sell the scripts aswell, money divided.

When I say "what you have to offer", I don't mean money. I mean skills.

I mean, you're pretty much admitting that you learned most of your PHP recently and I haven't seen any real proof that you're good enough to form/join a team of php programmers. When you make an application, especially one you want to distribute, every single programmer has to be skilled and aware of what's involved in making an application. If one programmer doesn't know much about sql injections and how to prevent them, or one doesn't know about remote inclusion or XSS, then there's a fair chance the application is going to suck. It's that simple

hey, are there any Nobel Laureates around ?

I want to collaborate and write some whitepapers together.

My experience includes 1-2 weeks basic english, basic math, and basic science class.

I promise I wont sell them, call them my own, and/or use them for my thesis and dissertation !

I am aware of sql injections and xss, I spend more time hacking my own applications than creating them to remove holes.

and that's the problem. You should create apps that don't have these holes, not remove them after coding the apps. Because if you do it your way, you'll end up having a bunch of holes
he's saying what I'm saying - you are a beginner (in my definition) asking for professionals to join you to do something for free, without any assurance that you won't just screw them over
