Too Much to go into this late at night.
Just do a few Googles if you can't stand the suspense.

    "Cheney, Haliburton"
    "Bush Family, Oil"
    "George Bush, Texas Oil"
    "Haliburton, Military Contracts"
    "Haliburton, Military Supplies"

Then go and look up as much as you can about how we got into this war in Iraq, the U.N. resolutions for more inspections, the supposed WMD's, The Faulty Intelligence from Paid Operatives, Colin Powel and The Iraq War, and then Read Scott McClellan's Book and you will start to get sick to your stomach.

Homebiz, Simply, and perhaps a few others continue to suspect (if not outright believe) that Obama is secretly a Muslim, and a terrorist, hell bent on destroying the United States on taking the presidency.

The source of the bullshit starting this whole ball-a-rollin' has been revealed.

I know one member (now banned), had once said he had "certain" information "proving" the notion that Obama was a terrorist Manchurian Candidate plant , or something like that. Congrats, fellas, on such an astounding set of serious inquiries, based on the work of a clinically insane, tragic individual.

I have never seen, in my lifetime, such a three-ring circus act of freaks attempting to destroy the person and candidacy of one man, based solely on abject, if weakly cloaked, personal fear, as I have seen in this campaign.

I'd say an insipid attempt at wit is a great entrée to a certain brand of politics, but then, the job's taken.

    Oh, and lest we forget,

When a guy like Biz sits in his civilian chair and trashes veterans who have served, who also think this war was an unconscionable waste of lives, service and civilian, "cute" as in the opening line above doesn't come to mind.

    **********
Meanwhile, back in reality, Real Clear has tagged a significant electoral spike in Obama's favor, overnight. From +119 as of yesterday, Obama is as of today +146 ahead of McCain, with 211 solid votes, 93 leaning, while McCain only has 140 solid votes, and a paltry 18 leaning.

Forcing no toss ups, it's now a clear margin of over 2 to 1 - Obama 364, McCain 174.

When Obama calls the Iraqi war a mistake, Obama disrespects the service and the sacrifice of everyone who has died promoting freedom. ~ Obama Guy

When NPT calls the Iraqi war a mistake, NPT disrespects the service and the sacrifice of everyone who has died promoting freedom.

Just substitute NPT everywhere I have used the word OBAMA

I thought that flip-flopping was a perquisite of Obama.

You know Bizzy, you and Obama may not be that different at all. :p

Cute, I'm sure it will raise sniggers from the few other children on board.

I'll say it once more - as a vet, I was willing to die in my country's service, and it's as a vet, and as a damn human being, that I value the life of the men and women who serve the nation. I am deeply angered to see their lives squandered for the errand of a fool, and for those, like you, who believe patriotism amounts to sitting on the couch and chewing Doritos while stupidly calling for their blood, never once considering, or asking, "for what, really?" while making sure it's not his fat ass in harm's way.

I am aggrieved to see the loss of innocent Iraqi lives as a result of this administration's gross ignorance (or worse) - the latent but deep schisms embedded in Iraqi history should have been known, and the breadth and intensity of sectarian violence on Hussein's removal should have been anticipated. We "accomplished mission" believing "the guy who wanted to hurt Bush's daddy" was the root, the source, the end of all violence in Iraq, and failed to see we had rent the fabric of Iraq in many places, without any plan in place to deal with the aftermath.

I am deeply angered our vets are made the focal point of hatred in the world, rather than being seen as a source for good. I want them home.

Your disgusting statements - naming myself, and other vets like me, civilians, all the honorable Americans, in fact, who have a legitimate reason to believe this war was a mistake foisted upon the American people - to name me and others like me a traitor and a disgrace to my country, as you have done - these are the statements of a coward, drowning in ignorance.

As expected, the Washington Post has endorsed Obama. Beyond it's reasons for Obama, the post goes into it's reasons why it is not choosing McCain - among them, his gutter campaign, and his selection of a nothing like Palin as his running mate. Weeks ago (astounding that it's been weeks since we've known of Sarah Palin, yes?), I predicted she would be a horribly bad move for McCain's campaign. I think I was right. She is an albatross, proferred to McCain at the 11th hour, and I expect there has been a bloodbath going on inside the campaign after the first starry-eyed flush of her coming-out party at the RNC.

Colin Powell is reportedly possibly going to make an endorsement this Sunday, on Meet the Press. Should his endorsement fall to Obama, wonder if some folks on here will leap to condemn a man they formerly praised, as some kind of "socialist shill race baiter?"

William F. Buckley's son, Chris Buckley, resigned from National Review -- the magazine his Father founded -- after endorsing Obama.

Or we could elect 3rd from the bottom of his class McCain and KNOW that won't happen.

Just like George (C's get degrees) Bush.

When you're decisions aren't driven by intellect, and or at the very least tempered thoughtfulness, there really is only one thing to fall back on. Blind ideology....
