We donate $500 to DP, then get an infraction for making the honest mistake of posting in the wrong free sub-forum? Can I get my money back please?
its nice your able to donate such a sum, stupid but nice. then you start a thread bragging about it. very lame. nothing like patting yourself on the back eh....
Not sure if you were here the day I made that post, but the site was crashing every 5 minutes. That was the only point.

It happens to the best of us. Chances are, even though you donated $500, you will get another infraction for starting this thread. DP mods love those infractions!
I get an infraction just about every time I start a thread. lol Even though I try very hard to put the thread in the correct category. That's why I don't start too many threads nowadays. $500 is a LOT of money to donate to DP. Wow.
It is because the mods are mostly women and they do not like other women competing for attention on DP.

It was nice of you to donate $500 but I think the mods should have made an exception because you donated money to dp. I've been here for a while and I'm afraid to start any threads because I think I will get an infraction.
Being a donator does not mean you should get any special treatment of the mods and so forth, and bragging about how much you donated makes you look like a tosser; when you donate something you should not expect anything in-return; let alone asking for your money back.
Perhaps you need some enlightening. I was offering free hosting in exchange for a link. So I was offering a TRADE. I put it in Buy, Sell or Trade > Services > Web Hosting They moved it to Freebies. Now, I am not giving anything away, I am offering a trade. So I broke some rule by not knowing a trade is really a freebie? I am sure there is another mod that would give an infraction for putting it under freebies when it was really a trade. And if not for the promises made at http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/donate.html I would not have sent them a nickle.
We very much appreciate your contribution. Infractions are just warnings, they don't do much else. Some of the biggest badasses here are all banned, should tell you something about the rules. Rules are like nuclear missiles, sometimes they hurt the wrong men along with the intended targets. Mods make mistakes and errors in Judgement as well. They were average humans, last time i checked. Donations don't entitle anyone to special treatment either , if they did, I'd be donating through my nose.
