How To Track Which Advert Clicks Are Converting?

    Hi,

I was wondering is it possible to track how well each of your adverts on Adwords are converting? Say you promote some affiliate offers, and you have several different adverts running, is there a way of telling which advert clicks are actually converting, and which aren't?

Hope this makes sense, and thanks for any help.

Thanks but can this be used on affiliate programs? I mean, I couldn't place special code on the actual sign-up page, because it wouldn't be owned by me....

    Thanks for any more help

You have to be able to control the landing page so you can include the code or work with an affiliate company that would do this for you...and most won't. I don't do any marketing where I don't control the landing page so I can't offer much guidance for that situation.

    Oh okay right, thanks.

I was wondering, could you create an advert which links to a different landing page (identical page but has a different link code) so I can view from my affiliate stats which link received the most conversions?

You can install the Google converison pixel and it will track which ads are converting. If you want to view from your affiliate stats then you can use different Subid's for each ad.

Ask the affiliate network to place the pixel for you.

I did read the thread. Hes using an affiliate program, he cant install the pixel himself but he can ask for it to be installed for him.

Edit: wow, when i made my post none of your replies showed. That's weird, my bad.

My tracker allows this. You can track the ad id and therefore the conversion without placing any pixels.

Insert a google pixel on your pages, that would help

Assuming you are promoting a Clickbank product: If you are doing a direct link to the affiliate program's sales page use a different TID for each advert. If you are going to your own landing page and from there the visitor clicks on a link to go to the affiliate program's sales page then set up a different landing page for each advert with a different TID in the link on each landing page.
