i just received $50 for putting 2 links on a site... why?

    I know the person is looking for high PR backlinks but this is only PR 2. it IS a subdomain of a .edu (which is PR 8) so maybe that is why?

    either way $50 is a lot for such a thing

    Either that, or the person must be extremely rich and $50 is basically nothing to him. Lucky you :p

    I agree with kawarjot that the only reason is for the PR8 edu site.

    yeah, maybe he doesn't understand that the URL itself is only PR2.. hmmm. but it should be higher, right? since it's a subdomain of a PR8 site.

    Are edu.in domains of same importance as .edu?
    edu.in are alloted by a department of Indian Govt. and they can be registered only by reputed educational institutes.

    Was the $50 they gave you for 6 months, 1 year or permanent? That information would help this story tremendously.
