Hello People I Have Just Signed Up For A XOOM Account But there is 1 Problem i accidently put My Wrong Date Of Birth Because im too Small For The Account Now How Can I Change The Name And Account details .. if i get a payment will i be able to withdraw it ? will i face any problems Please hELP!!
you can't. just get another account with the right details. Don't fake your date of birth. you may end up loosing your funds.
Just leave it and open new account with right info. But how do you encash your funds ? Do you have a bank account with your name ? DON.

See, Xoom does not require the presence of a bank account. If you are from India, you can ask your clients to pay you via Xoom and you can withdraw the cash at any Instant Cash counters of IndusInd Bank here in India.
you cannot withdraw money from xoom... xoom is a money transfering service not a merchant service.... so if someone send you money then you will either have goto pickup location or bank deposit... there is no option for withdraw payment at xoom... the delivery will be done automatically to you... also read the TOS of xoom as now a days xoom close account if they find anything suspecious....

rafayj , first of all due to regulations the person who is sending you money has to be out of your country (pakistan). 2. which ever country he is from, they have to have a verified paypal account from that country in their name. 3. they then move the money from their paypal account onto Xoom. 4. They instruct Xoom to send you either a Cheque, Draft, or a Cash Pickup (if allowed in Pakistan. Allowed here in India) Basically, you need to have the money move from different countries. A verified Indian Paypal cannot send money to a Xoom user in India. (Against Indian Law) hope this clarifies...
No man, If you keep wrong date of birth, it will give problem to you. You cant withdraw funds, My suggestion is that you better, signup another account with correct info. By the way, what is your age?
