Try going to you tube. People can learn songs fairly quick. After you learn a few song start doing karaoke and learn to read the songs.
I have a idea for you. Go to youtube and look for videos that are in english and have titles in your language. Or get out a DVD and turn it on English and try and follow along.
You should probably either look into a class around your local education establishments, or look into that "rosetta stone" program that's always on the TV commercials, I hear it's actually ok I dont know if they have an english edition though.

If you have the money, hire a tutor. But if you want to learn on your own, read English books or maybe watch English movies. Keep a dictionary at hand! It would be best if you could surround yourself with the language that you want to learn. After all, that’s how we become skilled at our native tongues ourselves. Also, don’t forget to practice what you’ve learned and in time, you’ll be great at it. Good luck!
To improve English you must follow these rules: 1. Discuss more and more in a particular topic with family members. 2. Read English novel half an hour every day. 3. Talk with friends in English only. 4. Hear English News daily. 5. Improve your mistakes while you are speaking English sentences.
Listen to English Music, try to think in English. translate your local song in your mind to english. it very helpful for me.
