Getting indexed doesn't mean you will show up in search results. Try some basic seo and check performance of your site for related keywords in searches

To rank well for any keywords you will need quality backlinks. You can't expect to just put up a site and get rankings automatically.

Indexing doesn't mean that you will get good rankings as well. Indexing is just a beginning. You have long way to go. Just keep concentrating on SEO.

This is so true... It will take some time... You have to earn the right to appear in the rankings. It isn't automatic...

It's just like you are a candidate now but not yet a winner and ranked...

When a site gets indexed by search engines, it is your signal to begin your link building strategy. As others have said, it is only the start! Next step is to gather useful and natural links.

whats the deal with Google supplemental results? ive heard from my colleagues that when you run a the site:command in Google and end with a /* it displays all the pages that are actually google indexed meaning the others are actually supplemental. Is the only way to get these pages out of supp results just gaining more backlinks to these inner pages?

Just find it odd how the site:command doesnt take these supp pages into account to give you a better understanding into how much of your site is actually indexed by Google :(
