Drinking hot water

    Do you drink hot water? i was told by my uncle its meant to be good for you, seems like it cant do any harm.

    Tried it? i think i will soon.

    When i'm in the shower hot water goes into my mouth so I drink that, but never fill a glass or bottle up with hot water and drink it.

    I do a bit of that too. :)

    Well apparantly just hot water on its own is said to be good to drink.

    Yeah water should be warm not too much hot mate, Hot water is good for health .
    so dp members try to drink hot water every day not cold water :)

    Me too. It doesn't taste very nice though. I think chilled water is nicer.

    Your uncle is correct, however you can increase its wellness for you by adding two to four tablespoons of baking soda... No joke. Great for your blood oxygen level. Do it twice a day, feel the effects in a week.

    Now it does taste absolutely terrible... but its worth it!

    I know that in the case of pets hot water is sometimes very good for them. Some plants do better hydrated with warmer water. As far as I'm concerned I've never tried it. I'm sure in the case of being sick hot water would work to cut Flem. I always drink tea or something of the like.. Mostly because I'm a flavor junkie.

    In any case It's good for something

    Speaking of drinking hot water. I boiled some water to make some tea the other day and for some stupid reason II forgot that it was hot while I tested the tea. I'm sure you can guess the rest.

    It Burned me -- BAD!!! but i'm ok now.

    But I do prefer room temperature water rather than ice cold or refrigerated water.
