Hi guys! Let's say I had a website that was PR3 and it was slapped by the big G with a PR0 for selling links Do I have any chances to regain PR after I remove the links ? Or is it a permanent thing? Did any of you had any experience with this? I would appreciate it if I got replies only from people who gone through this. Also, I'm kinda tired of people who say that PR doesn't matter and all that sh*t, so if PR doesn't matter to you, don't SPAM my thread Thanks ~Vlad
I've seen couple of sites getting dropped from PR4 to PR0 and then regaining to PR2 PR does matter if you want to sell links...
yeah i got penalized from pr-3 to pr - 0 for link sale. It is a permanent thing and you need to wait for the next pr update. In the mean time you continue to work on building backlinks
What's your backlink count?Whether you have a backlink from sites which had PR? PR is entirely related no of backlinks you have from PR site...
Well, from what I know, there isn't a tool that tells you if you were penalized for selling links (if you know of such a tool please post the link ) so I just assumed that I got slapped by google. Since I had this site for about 2 years now and it was a PR3 for almost 1 and a half years, so I got through a lot of PR updates and it was fine. I think I oversold link space and that's why I got slapped... I have been selling links for a long time and I was fine but the outbound links were always under 20, it seems like when I surpassed 20 (I had 23 outbound) that was the thing that got Google's attention Anyways, if it's just an inter-PR update thing that's good to hear
yeah, about 2 months ago my PR5 and PR4 domains were slapped by the G, but now on, the two domains re-gain the PR 3. means that by any periodical updating you would re-gain your PR that are slapped. So...just enjoy updating your domain with your new fresh content. it must help...
