Alexa should have no bearing on Google's algorithms. Alexa rank is really meaningless at least for most sites. I just turned back on the toolbar after a few years and within a few weeks my sites climbed a couple hundred thousand, it is just seeing from the toolbar that I am visiting the site frequently. Eric
my site was 50, 000 alexa rank results in google search apperar in first page after 3 monthes it was 115,000 and googl doesn't appera result in first 10 pages
Even if it did in the past(impossible), I can assure that it is not at the moment. Alexa is now taking it's search results from Windows Live Search.
As the others have said, Alexa data has no influence on Google rankings. Although easily manipulated, from an advertising standpoint, many advertisers will look at the Alexa numbers when considering a site for advertising purposes. Dave

yeah your alexa rank is going down because less people are visiting your site as google is not driving traffic.
No, because Google use there PageRanking system to analyses keywork and link structures though your website. Alexa simply just builds a rank on your traffic.
Alexa maybe not relevant because it belong diffirent copany, but i think traffic and google rank effect together

no, it will definitely not affect. Sometimes google rank effects alexa but alexa's rank doesn't effect google
