Website Dropped off the radar on yahoo and google

I recently set up 3 websites at roughly the same time. 1 of which, i decided to try and promote using all the usual SEO techniques discussed on this site.
Directory submission, artivle submission, link exchanging. Some of the links are PR4, PR5, and PR6.
My website was slowly working its way up yahoo rankings. I have now got to 700 backlinks for my site (in about 2 months).

Now all of a sudden.. my website has dropped right of the radar and is no where to be seen on google or yahoo for my keywords. (middle Signature)

My other 2 websites, which have not really got any more than 100 or so backlinks from mainly this forum and other forums. One is on page 1/2 of google and 1 of yahoo or my given keywords. (bottom signature)

The other is on page 5/6 of yahoo.(top signature)

So My website which i have been working on all the SEO techinques has vanished, and the other 2 are doing great??

Is it possible it could have been punished for too many links too fast etc??

    Duplicate content within your own site;
    planetlotto.co.uk
    planetlotto.co.uk/playfree.htm
    planetlotto.co.uk/links.html
    planetlotto.co.uk/earnmoney.htm
    planetlotto.co.uk/vids.html

is the first and main issue.

Keyword stuffing with unrelated keywords in your meta tag the second.

And yes, you have obtained to many links to fast for a new site. Check the current position of the new SERP if you can find it. Or add 90 positions to where the old one was. If it's close, Google put a penalty on it.

Yahoo and MSN will drop you too for getting links to fast.

I think it also depends on the kind of links you obtain. If someone posts a cool, viral flash app they built to their blog or something, it could get hundreds of links in a matter of days. Google is smart enough to value that and not wipe out the blog's search rank.

The TrustRank, relevance and quality of the pages linking to you is important.

Its not a permanent penalty as far as I know...you just have to add more unique contents and dont build link quickly from now on...make sure you build links in more natural way
