well i am using plimus - and i knew about vat, so any person using plimus : can you tell me how to get rid of the process of vat ,many clients comlpain about giving additional - my frnd told me to remove to the electronically delievered only from the contract order page => can you tell me this will not affect my payment method at all thanks Danish Muzaffar
VAT must be collected if your customers are from EU and that you electronically delivered the product to them. You could opt to 'Include Vat in Price' by checking that option and you would be paying for your customer's VAT whichever their countries charges. But of course if you are really sending physical items then your customers do not need to pay VAT upfront before you delivered the goods. Thus making the collection of VAT not your responsibility but someone elses. However, it is not a good idea to uncheck the 'electronically delivered only' option if you are not sending them a physical package because by doing so you would be violating EU regulation and you may get your account terminated by Plimus for trying to breach taxation laws. EU residents know that they need to pay VAT so don't help them evade taxes.
- thanks eddy for great help especially acknowldging me about the termination of the account , it really helps otherwise ill get into trouble and my so called earnings get into trash regards Danish Muzaffar
