why don't you post your site so that we can tell you where you are doing wrong! $160 a year is just too low
try to advertise your site.. maybe free promotions like forum signature , link building.. then u will be earning more.. and find a good niche on your site. don't jump to create another site. if u are sure its a good site.. then keep promoting and promoting.. you will get successes one of the day. thank you.
Remember that adsense is not the only way to make money on the internet. People like it because they often see results quite soon even though they are small. e.g. a few cents from a few clicks. I got out of the adsense bubble half a year ago and earn so much more from other sources with less traffic than my adsense sites.
This is seriously pathetic, publishers do lot of hard work, and in the end they get paid like peanuts. Google should hire publishers on monthly salary basis, like $500/month for a PR3 and 10,000 unique visitors/month. As the website's PR and traffic value raise up they will increase the salary. lol just a suggestion no offense.
False, I bet my ass that half of the publishers do not invest into there websites and that is the real reason why they earn peanuts. You get what you deserve? Right?
I don't think that should be the case. For my site, I bought only the domain and I make my living out of it.
I suggest you try to increase your traffic and improve your site's CTR. The key to make lot of money with adsense is to get lot of traffic. Traffic = $$$. Try to improve your organic traffic.
Well, if you expect me to say this is very bad, I am not going to say that , But this is a good job,,, I know my freind took him 1 year and a half to get payed,,. so good work and try to improve it.
Having good content is only half the equation. You need traffic too, buying backlinks is a way to generate that or you can try to make the front page of digg/reddit/stumbleupon and get traffic that way.
Don't get too discouraged by it. Maybe if you get more traffics the revenue will constantly pick up (plus a few more works). Obviously you are not the worst, since many others don't even reach payout and abandon the account halfway.
very bad earning... 160$ should be earn with in a month... You can increase your earning by creating more than one site... just don't stick to 1.
Test different niches. If you're actually interested in making money through this, spend some time on it.
