im thinking of just buying up .info domains for the keyword im targetting in adwords

Example say im tying to get dog training videos..

    Ill buy www.dogtrainingvideos.info or w/e

Im wondering if .info domain will hinder the quality score?

basically will a .info domain with MAJOR keywords in it be better than a .com with no major keywords in it?

I would take a .info with strong keywords over bad .com name

To be honest, I wouldnt take so quickly a .info domain for my business. Only when Id be working as an afiliate I would consider a .info domain as an option. I always prefer .com domains over .info domains.

If you're a business then a .com or a local TLD (is that what they are called?) is essential.

The only times I would consider using other TLDs if I am not achieving a high CTR in which case I go for a .net or .info with the keywords in the domain (if they are unregistered). This usually improves CTR significantly. Eg. I had www.abc.com.au/fancywidget which performed much worse than fancywidget.net.au

Having a .info won't hurt you that much though some will argue otherwise (lower credibility - fewer clicks - lower CTR - lower QS - higher bids - lower ROI)

A .info domain will not impact the QS one way or the other.
