    Hi all,

I used a free template for my first website and customized it a bit, changed colors, fonts, images, design, cleaned the code....

    I learned HTML/CSS in 5 days...

So what I must do next, can someone point me in the right direction,I know that I need to add some content but that can wait a bit.

So for now I only have the index.html page and cascading style sheet.

okay, yiu have learned your basic HTML and CSS right?
now i think you should go for PHP. Php is most widely used language.

Before you do that you must master CSS. Try and get your design to look good in the following browsers:

    *IE6
    *IE7
    *IE8
    *Firefox
    *Opera

Once you are able to achieve that then PHP would be the next step.

You'll want to spend more then 5 days before you hit up the server side languages. Spend at least a month learning HTML and CSS better as these languages play a vital role in any website creation. Also, as previously mentioned, it's all well and good when you start out and make a site that looks good in your browser - but most beginners will find that if you check the same site in different browsers, it will look horrible. You need to learn tips and methods to make your sites look good in all browsers.
