Hi, I have a Greek tv-show related site, and it was ranking 1 in google till today morning...but now the ranking is gone...its in 50th position now....I have never bought links nor use any black hat methods..the site has some good amount of backlinks and even it has sitelinks from google, which shows that i have some good internal linkbuilding... So what could be the problem guys...I need help guys....Please suggest something... my site url is http://watch-greek-online.info
Acc. to me all the video content is not yours. Videos are uploaded on other website servers. Your website only points links to videos. Content could be your problem. google could be considering it as link farm Use your own video player and upload it in your own hosting account.
It may be temporary one you may come back again in Top 10. after 1 or 2 weeks be paitent.. don't worry It has happened to me a lot of times..
This is normal, be patient and add more backlinks to your site and it will goes to 1st position again!
It does look quite spammy, there are alot of 'watch'words there, maybe take them out on the left column, i think its quite bad to include your keywords in too many 'heading' tags. Be more fluent and natural with the content, obviously optimise it, but concentrate on getting really good backlinks and perhaps write reviews for the seasons, so you are writing content that will bring people to your website.
For which keyword, the ranking drops . Have you modified your homepage recently ? That might be the reason. motherknucker 's opinion should also be taken into consideration.
if you didnt make any changes to site recently..then it is just temporary. Kepp building back links and you will be back where you were
Happens all the time, normally google rearranging results to calculate how other sites perform in your position, if they do better, more visits/pages, stay longer, then google may put that site ahead of yours.
If a site is really pentalized, the site is totally removed from Google. Has happened to clients of some SEO-firms (that used fishy methods) amongst others.
Not strictly true - there are a number of different penalties, include -50 place demotion. Although quite how that works, I have no idea!
Its typical for Google to move your site around. You could have been ranked by one google data center at 1 and another at 5. I would avoid using the word "Watch" so much as stated earlier, and continue to add content daily. Google likes new content.
If you watch the SERPs for long enough you start to notice that Google likes to temporarily demote things, only to restore or even improve their rankings later. Sometimes I think it may be because the authority or trustworthiness of some of your backlinks changes, sometimes it may be data center discrepancies, or who knows... could be a million other things. The advice above is all good -- make sure you have a clean site that isn't spammy and isn't doing anything blackhat, keep building links and offering value, your rankings will probably come back.
"Watch Greek Online Season" -- too many times, i think google count it as spam. You should use variations instead of using the same number of times. Thanks,
