there are a lot of low income people that do not have passport and don't drive. specially older people. It is an extra burden on them to vote.
pugs also want to take away peoples right to vote if they have been evicted. it is not like they are no longer citizens. pugs are shameless.
oregon is +13 for Obama. no one is listening to the christians

That would make the democrats lose a lot of votes. No wonder Obama supports ACORN . ACORN registers more dead people than any other organization in the United States.

If I am not mistaken most states require every adult to carry a legal form of identification... AND they have State issued ID available at the DMV.

You probably don't even know a poor person who is legal who can't get or doesn't have an ID.

BTW, northern Oregon, Eugene and Ashland are all quite liberal areas. Portland and Salem make up a huge percentage of the total population of Oregon. Oregon is and has been a very liberal state - our current governor is a perfect example of that liberalism. We give out welfare and make is so easy to use - we give them a type of credit card called the Oregon card and you can spot the users in any grocery store. Without those on welfare I am convinced that cola companies would leave the state and the sales of junk food would be cut by 75%.

Oh, did you know Oregon has free healthcare as well?
I have met many on the system who could afford it more than I and complain about their "charges"

I don't care who does it, any fraud on any side should be dealt with severely!

I still remember when the dems were giving away cigarettes in my state to the homeless for votes. Talk about dirty and underhanded.

I also know for Bush a guy I know personally went to retirement homes, damn near forcing elderly who could barely speak to vote for Bush. Another dirty underhanded trick. People who can't even go to the bathroom by themselves being told 'sign here' to vote for someone, give me a break!

The last 2 elections had many reports of fraud. The interesting thing I saw was that majority of the the claims that were found to be true were democrats and the majority of the false claims were the ones pointing at Republicans. Then when Gore tried to sue to win the election by changing the way votes were counted democrats said it was Bush trying to change the way votes are counted.

Looks like Obama may be ready to throw Acorn under the bus now as well. All his shady past associates that keep getting discovered, seem to always be tossed under the bus after exposed.

Notice how he always skirts around the issue, by using a strawman? When he gets caught with his dirty associates he says things like "they are not advising our campaign." Problem is? No one is claiming such things. He dismisses all his shady, exposed associates in this manner, rather than address the real issue.

Obama is a dangerous man with a dangerous association to many anti-Americans.

It is against the law not to have a state issued ID on you at all time in every state. Each voter should be required to have an ID to vote. I also think the voter database needs to be tied into the DMV system to not allow voting in different areas by the same person.

Really? I know many people who do not even have one, hell my son doesn't either. I guess he is breaking the law every time he goes to school.

I know where I live you must have a drivers license while driving on you. Is this a new law?

Please show proof that it's 'illegal' in all 50 states for any citizen to not have a state issued ID on them at all times.

Call your Police Department tomorrow and ask. That will give you first hand knowledge and you can tell the rest of us if its true or not.

I'm sure the requirement to have a state ID is a state by state thing.

As far as an ID being a requirement to vote, to me this just seems like common sense. Shit, you even need an ID to get on a commercial plane.

I'm sure it's a state by state thing as well.

BTW many times you're not even required to hand over your ID in such a case that you're not driving ;)

Also in my state I remember when the law was changed so you had to actually physically have your drivers license on you when driving. There was an uproar over that, sure I'd of heard something if all of a sudden everyone needed an ID on them at all times. Hope they make them water proof ;)

If I'm not mistaken it's required by all 50 states. Asking someone to show ID when they vote is racial discrimination against minorities which makes no sense to me but the ACLU says different.

ACORN is Under Fire For Allegedly Submitting Fake Voter Registrations

A prominent voters registration group admitted today that it fired some of its workers for falsifying voter registrations, but said it helped authorities to identify the phony voter cards and that its efforts shouldn't be tainted by the fraudulent activities of a few workers.
