Try clicking on the individual keyword links that you are tracking within the tracker. I have found some success doing that (sporadically), even when the overall tracker function is not working.
If your site depends on Google and Yahoo placements for traffic and sales, your search engine rankings are tied directly to your bottom line. That's why you need to keep a close eye on your rankings to make sure you're near the top at all times. Now here's the question: How would you like spending as little as 2 minutes a day to see where you rank for hundreds of your critical web searches? You know, the keywords people type into Google and Yahoo to arrive at your site and buy something? Or subscribe to your newsletter, or download your eBook? If you're anything like most webmasters and SEOs, you'd love that! Because if you ever tried manually hunting down a URL buried somewhere on page 17 of Google's results pages, you wouldn't want to do that again, ever. Luckily, if you got Rank Tracker, you won't have to. Just click the image below to watch a demo video and see how you could start saving hours and hours of your valuable time every day monitoring your Google and Yahoo! rankings with our SEO software.
Does anyone know how to "unfreeze" keyword tracker. The query has been running for 10 days or so without any links being updated. Tried the basics like clearing my cache. Love this tool - what exists as an alternative? Any help appreciated
Same here. Just like Optigold People are still waiting, years later for an answer from Sean. Oh well. On a side note, Freshmeat.net has some open source SEO tools that are available.
The Tracker seems to work only every now and then, followed by a "down" period, like right now. The Tracker is my single most important reason for being a member of Digital Point. With (1) the Tracker not working and (2) an obvious, recent, slow-leak departure from the forums of many senior members, I am apprehensive about the survivability of Digital Point as a leading webmaster forum.
Yes, it is disheartening to watch the changes for the worse. Some time ago I stopped visiting the non-webmaster-related DP sub-forums (General, Religion, etc.). I limited myself to those sub-forums where professional webmasters could swap information helpful to the process of producing great websites. Now in those very forums, over recent months, I see a gradual disappearing of a large number of "senior", proven members. One senses that DP is running on past glory, but with no efforts being made to keep it among the leading-edge webmaster forums. I hope I'm wrong, because DP has meant a lot to me.
over here, and i've had no luck since october 2. should i be grateful that this was a low cost tool that helped me for many years, or pissed that the owner doesn't give a toss about it? assuming that shaun is ok, as days go by i'm leaning more toward the latter. "zero communication" is no way to treat this community.
so has anyone tried to reach Sean or someone else to fix the issue? Or you think they got rid of it just like that ?
I do hope Shawn can find the time to take a look and see if there's anything he can do to get us a fix, but if he has bigger fish to fry then so be it. In that case isn't there somebody, *anybody* who's been left to be caretaker for him? I can't believe the DP ship has been *completely* cast adrift... It'd be a shame to see it sink so ungraciously...
Just a heads up. When adding multiple keyword phrases in bulk I receive the following error: [B]Warning[/B]: file_get_contents(DIR/includes/database_error_message.html) [[URL="http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/function.file-get-contents"][COLOR=#0066cc]function.file-get-contents[/COLOR][/URL]]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [B]/home/.sites/28/site1/web/tools/keywords/class_db.php[/B] on line [B]922[/B] [B]Warning[/B]: halt(DIR/includes/functions_log_error.php) [[URL="http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/function.halt"][COLOR=#0066cc]function.halt[/COLOR][/URL]]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [B]/home/.sites/28/site1/web/tools/keywords/class_db.php[/B] on line [B]924[/B] [B]Fatal error[/B]: halt() [[URL="http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/function.require"][COLOR=#0066cc]function.require[/COLOR][/URL]]: Failed opening required 'DIR/includes/functions_log_error.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in [B]/home/.sites/28/site1/web/tools/keywords/class_db.php[/B] on line [B]924[/B] [B] Code (markup): [/B] I have been away awhile. Someone mentioned Shawn is only talking to his lawyers. Why would that be? Wayne
