I want to optimize my campaign for long term keywords but I am not able to figure out how to use it. For example- I want to target the keywords- "Get my ex back", get ex back, get your ex back, how to get ex back. Now what shall i add in the adgroup name when all these keywords are long tail? At the same time how can I add all these keywords to my ads when they are all long? Thanks in advance.
Your Adgroup can be named "ohbflhpwepbwf" it doesn't matter! About the keywords and ads you can make different ads for every keyword. If you are going to bid only on this 4 words i suggest to make a different Adgroup for every word. And them make ads for this word. Also if you use only this 4, you can make Adgroups with different matching type. (broad, phrase, exact). And finally you can simply use the {keyword} "command".
Diko has some google skill. But like he said, if you're only using 4 then you can make a group for each. It gets a bit tedious when you have 150 that you're targeting. And name the campaign whatever you like.
I am on the other end of the spectrum. I have 200 words ready for my first campaign. I am unsure do I setup 200 adgroups and just as many landing pages to reflect each keyword or can I setup 4 or 5 adgroups and have 50 or more words in each group? I guess if you go that way then I would have only 4 or 5 landing pages. Will 4 or 5 landing pages suffice for 200 hundred words?
Actually does not matter... as long as the keywords are related you may have long tail in the adgroup and related 35 char keyword in the ad... As long as the keyword that triggers your ad & the ad headline are relevant, you are going to get the clicks... remember the users are people and not some bots... some even if you have long tail keyword in your group but a shorter relevant keyword in the ad headline, you are still going to get the clicks
