IP/DNS Nameserver Problem

Hi, I'm having some sort of issue here with domain and nameserver pointing..

Story: I registered a domain name on namecheap.com just to use it as my nameservers...I created nameservers with this domain name "ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com", both pointing to my server ip address..Everything looks setup correctly, but here's my problem.

Problem: when I try to point my other domain names to my server with the nameservers I created, they don't seem to point. When I check the domain whois info online, it shows that the domain names are under the nameservers I created...BUT IT SHOWS THEY ARE STILL POINTING TO A DIFFERENT IP ADDRESS. Why is this happening? I mean what changes was I suppose to make for the dns to work properly??

Not sure wat u're asking me to do, but the domain name ojoserver.com is supposed to point to the registrar like it is now..the videolots.com domain on the other hand, is supposed to point to the nameservers ojoserver.com, but thats my issue..its not pointing correctly.

The nameservers ns1 and ns2.ojoserver.com seem to be pointing correctly tho, becos when i ping it, I get a reply from my server ip, which is good, which also tells me that the nameservers are pointing. But y is it when i use the nameservers for my other domain names, I don't get anything?

Give it more time to propagate, MAx of 3 days from when you switch over.

Your name servers are still not correct your server dose not know what they are.

Your name servers do not work your site will not be live until you fix this.

    http://ns1.ojoserver.com/

you should get a apache page or default server page. i get a server not found that means your name servers are not working.

Please look at these links again
http://www.intodns.com/videolots.com <---it tells you there is something wrong
http://www.intodns.com/ojoserver.com <--- why do you have these pointed to the registrar and not your server? Are you using there dns sever?

    1. Do I need to make changes on the server itself? cos I think everything with the dns have been setup correctly, so maybe the issue is with my own server..pls let me know...Thanx.

    2. Yes, I'm using their dns server.
