For personal use laptops are good, and for family use desktops are much better than laptops.

My Toshiba used to get pretty hot, but I found the perfect solution. Solid State Hard Drives. Feels as cool as when I took it out of the box.

I always prefer desktop because of the stability if I can say so. A desktop will always have better proprieties than a laptop.

Laptop for me. That's all I have. Two great laptops. Love the portability they provide and that they take up so little space.

I don't use a laptop as I don't need a PC with me when I am travelling. My desktop works fine for me till now. :)

Desktop Will Always Be Used , And Laptops Cant Be Forgotten For Their Mobility....

U Will Miss Each Of Them , If U Dont Have One.

I Dont Have A Laptop, I Miss It.. But I Know , If I Had A Laptop But Not A Desktop .. I Did Miss This Too..

    :)

    Hope Everybody Knows The Fact

For daily use, I just use my laptop. Desktop just for playing games.

Ever since I started using a laptop, my electricity bill has halved.

The laptop runs at 60W. My desktop monitor(CRT) runs at 70W. Add to that the desktop power supply of 400W, and you can see why laptops make sense.

Laptops are way better than desktops.. nowdays there is nothing that can differentiate a laptop from Desktop..

But Laptops are way better as they have a good backup time of two hours... and also mobility it offers is unmatched

I like to use laptop while i am travelling or at home but i like to use desktop when i am at office (working for long hours). So utlimately it depends on work situation.

Absolutely right being handy is more useful than the speed. The different in speed is not much i think between lap top and desk top. :D

Desktop. I like to play games and store alot of stuff with excessive hard drive space. Plus parts are cheap and easy to swap around.

Although laptops do have a certain 'cool factor' I won't deny.

I've grown to like both of them. I love laptops because of being portable, but I have learned to use desktops, as well.

A desktop is way better for home use. The power per dollar ratio is better and the keyboards are a better size than laptop keyboards.
