I am newbie into affiliate marketing.I would like you to share with me some tips. My plan is: Create site about Christmas. I see that there were several thousands of searching for words related to Christmas(Christmas, Christmas songs etc). I looked at competition in these keywords and they didn't seem to have some great sites. I would like to create site about christmass. You will have there some basic info about christimass + some christimass songs lyrics, mobile text messages etc. Plus I would like to add there how to choose good gift. What you should look at if you want to buy for example watches, or parfume etc. At the end I would like to add links to some store with this kind of kids. So I want to provide information about christmass and buying gifts and then I would visitor to buy something from my affiliate basicly. I would like to discuss this idea in general. I've some material about affiliate in general.
Good look with your idea. However, I am afraid that it's not true. Competition should be very strong here.
I forgot to say that I am not going to compete on English market. According to google there are 33 100 results on term Christmas songs in my language and demand(monthly) is approximately 1900. I have few other keywords and ratio(number of times when term was search divide by number of results return by google) is from 0,0574 to 0.0022
