it depends, what every suits you and work for you. You can't build a whole site on any random topic with useless content and starts to get tons of traffic and loads of money because you are using 1 keypwrd - 1 page technique
In your opinion what is a good "Google search" number ? I believe Google shows per month. So would a 1000 be something worth looking at ? Or maybe 2000 ? 3000? i have even seen 40000 with low competition. What would make you interested ? (P.S. assuming all the competition bars are empty for all the keywords- so that means its low competition)
