    Example...
    You submit to 1 million places and you end up with 100,000 backlinks.

    First, Its very unlikely that even 10% of the Site I submit is covered.
    Directories dont penalise, While Many S.E's recommend to resubmit the site.
    So it wont hurt your site anyway.
