    Well I know about submitemnow directory submitter....its a firefox plugin. From the features it looks like a terrific tool. But some how it did not work on my comp

    I've used the paid version of both phpylnx and phpLD. So far I'm having a better experience with phpLynx. However phpLynx is no longer on sale, you'll need to wait for their re-launch to get a copy.

    all fake accounts banned .... driven away from here just a good couple of times,

    The beauty of a directory script is the expandability of its detail pages. Wait, if you're discussing a pure LINK DIRECTORY script, then I give up. Link directories that simply offer link juice have no future in my eyes.

    hotscripts.com is one of oldest and most sucessful directory sites, it's powered by one of oldest directory scripts - Gossamer Links. I couldn't find a phpLD powered site yet that can or has the potential to compete with this site. Actually these phpLD sites won't be as sucessful as hotscripts.com because both the developers and users seem only interested in playing links.

    Directories are not meant to offer links, and phpLD is not meant to be the best directory script. What's the most successful directory site, I'd mention alibaba.com, yes it does not offer links, it provides information. What's the best direcotry software, certainly not phpLD in my view. The best one is the one that offers your expected functions.

    I would recommend indexu and esyndicat if you want to build a business directory.
