I'm sorry for you. Take care with these scammers, you would have had to give him the software after he made payment, and for your safe wait 2-3 days.

this is the right thing you have done.... never send the product untill you get the money... and in future always ask your buyers to wait 24 hours before you deliever the product.... because normally paypal held a payment within the first 24hours...

now a days lots of scammers use paypal to steal digital products like softwares, scripts etc.etc... and so setting up auto download after payment is not a very wise idea.... i send my programs manually to the buyer through email and the buyer have to send his serial key to my email and so i get a proof of them getting the product activated.....

Even waiting 2 - 3 days you aren't safe. People sometimes use credit card details to purchase via paypal as you don't need to register an account you just enter your CC details. This means that when the owner of the CC finds out they do a chargeback against paypal and you lose. Sorry but paypal really is majorily flawed but there isn't any payment processor out there that is as wildly used.

Hackers have been known to raid your accounts at Paypal. Please try MONEYBOOKERS.com. You would not have been scammed as any criminal activity would have been noticed by them.
