    Strange, but yahoo have been really good for me, as im on top5 for my most competitive keyword.
    but nothing is static, it will change for sure as new rivals come in the market with heavy competition.

    Well check this out you ask why not for all time,Do you want to search the internet on a topic and find nothing but sites from the 80's for 10 pages?

    So in order for you to keep your position you must maintain relevant content that contains your keywords ,in your titles and links as well.

    And be patient when it changes ,relax ,they index pages constantly,your traffic will calm down be glad your pages are working effective to be in such high demand.

    I think that Yahoo is updating site rankings more often than Google does. But not really sure if one site could jump way 3 pages back.

    Yahoo has indeed changed it's algorithm, on 2 out for my 3 sites had it's ranking go down, and i have seen some of my competitors just disappear and sites that are ranked top 5 should be on page 50,
    yahoo is not caching my main page for some reason also, but when i make a change to my site like the title, it changes it in the rankings within 1 day
