Good list. Social bookmarking is more worth then submitting to directories. If you need real good traffic then go ahead submit to social sites

I haven't been that active in stumbleupon, but yea, digg and facebook bring some visitors....and loving it

Don't get too beaten out of shape on Social Bookmarking. Works well in some cases and is over rated in others. Best just choose a few networks and concentrate . What works well on some doesn't on others. Please be very wary of Digg or at least trying to pull a stunt on Digg as it will backfire big time. It is a great site and works very well if handled correctly.

 

You should discuss the usefulness in terms of SEO.

I will comment on what I know:
http://www.delicious.com/ Started using it today. Functions are relatively userfriendly.
http://www.digg.com use it for a while and I am happy in terms of SEO
http://www.stumbleupon.com stopped using it, because I deem it useless in terms of SEO
http://www.reddit.com Used it once, need more experience
http://www.blogmarks.net/ Heard about it, will need more experience first.
http://www.folkd.com/ Startet using it recently and it already got some pages on google.
http://www.google.com/ Why would that be a social bookmark site?

http://www.propeller.com/ used it a while ago, neet more experience
http://www.searchles.com/ Is this the shitty one which downloads Videos. Quite annoying if you lake bandwidth. ....
http://sphinn.com/ Did use it, but need more experience.
http://www.technorati.com/ I used to feed blogs to it.

Tip: Make sure sites do have feed functionality and feed it to RSS/Atom feedpages.
