Our shared services are cPanel based with Fantastico by default! All our shared accounts are hosted on servers with Core2Quad @ 2.66Ghz per core, 4GB RAM, 2x250GB SATA HardDrives - All by default.

We disallow anything illegal in the USA on our servers along with web proxies. If you require proxy hosting have a look at our VPS servers.

You will get access to our VPS service through our HyperVM control panel; You can control your whole VPS through HyperVM also to start, reboot and shutdown it.

LxAdmin is a perfect web hosting control panel for VPS hosting, it is very lightweight so you can use all the resources that you are given, not for it to be taken up by a heavy resource control panel! Best of all lower prices can be given to VPSs with LxAdmin!

I just purchased the VPS1 package today and while I am still figuring out how to navigate my new server, I was impressed with the stats provided to me in real time via instant messenger. I signed up and my account was set up immediately. In addition, Sam stayed online with me and walked me through everything including my Namecheap NS setup....all for 6 bucks for the first month and only $10 a month after that!!!

do you have any dedicated servers with unmetered bandwidth?

 

We launched a dedicated server range last week, currently the dedicated information section is not setup on our site but our dedicated range, along with our unmetered range are availible from the following address. All of our normal servers come with 2000GB bandwidth my default which you can use in either outbound or inboud. We can also provide higher unmetered services for a higher price.

ok, but i noticed that you don't offer cpanel. why is that? and when will the pricing be up for the unmetered dedicated servers? also what about space, RAM increase?

 

Do you offer custom plans on your already stated plan?
Say if i don't need so much harddrive space and the extra ip address but i need 250GB of extra Bw to the plan.
Is this possible with the current price of the plan?

It has HyperVM...I just bought this today and at this point, I'm ready to shoot myself because I don't know how to use it and can't find any documentation. Ug, I should've held out for CPanel.

Well, genius, do you know how to use it? Furthermore, I didn't say it sucked...I was simply implying that I should've gotten something I already knew how to use. The documentation here: http://doc.lxlabs.com/lxadmin/client/index.html has been down all day. Sam has a trouble ticket in for it.

 

Lxadmin is a well layed out control manager,
I've been using it for more than a year
Its was built to be more user friendly than cpanel
Its just that your so use to controling every by seperate domains that you don't realise lxadmin is a central manager

Look for the Top tabs and navigate your way around, most importantly, run the update.

Thanks SUB. I've been staring at these tabs all day. I just can't figure out how to make my site work on here. With cPanel, eveything is uploaded to the public_html folder. On this, I've uploaded it some of everywhere and I still get 404 errors. I just don't know what I'm doing....and as I stated before, the help documentation is down. I will look for the update you are talking about, but I'm not holding my breath.

 

circuitcity - We do not offer cPanel on our VPS servers, but we do on our dedicated servers, this is due to licensing restrictions with VPS servers on prices, we do not want to offer it with high prices to our clients.

I will message you later on with a link to a pricing sheet of our upgrades for our servers.

Unmetered options for 10Mbps are avalible at $50/month on our normal servers.

SUB -

We can offer custom plans for those who's requirements are higher than the plans we offer.

We can't really exchange X amount of HD space for X amount of bandwidth as our bandwidth is of high quality, based on tier 1 bandwidth providers.

We are currently running on a HyperVM/OpenVZ system, we currently have no plans to be offering Xen based nodes.

You will be able to use HyperVM with all its capablities avalible.

I'm sorry that you're having a hard time so far with LxAdmin as its new to you.

Your support e-mail was replied to earlier by us. To upload files, use your favourite FTP client with your domain or IP as the address. Use the login details you use for LxAdmin for your username/password on FTP. You need to upload files to yourdomain.com/public_html/


You can also upload files through the main LxAdmin Panels, Domain -> File Manager.

If you wish to add new domains, click "Add Domain" on the top row of tabs, inputting your domain name and directory you want it stored in, in the appropriate fields.

I can guide you through this later if you are still having problems on IM, or reply to the e-mail we sent in accordance to yours.

Thpinky -

You can connect to the whole VPS through HyperVM with SFTP along with a File manager built into the HyperVM control panel.

You can connect to the domain directories through normal FTP with the login details provided, or use the built in File manager on your internet browser.

We also like HyperVM/LxAdmin! We feel that its a great control panel with good layed out adminstration panel. Its perfect for VPSs as it allows you to use your VPS to its full potentional as it runs on little RAM.

 

Hey sorry guys. At first it was complicated but i got it all now. Sorry for the mean comment. I guess it's kinda pretty cool, it's a cpanel and stuff. I'm start my own proxy site hidemesurf.com it's not done yet though.

Just wanted to post an update. Sam helped me via IM this morning to get my site up and running. The problem I was having was certainly not with the hosting. The hosting is fantastic. Great deal and great support! Recommended.
