    Hi guys

I have an idea for a site where specific niche is reviewed by people that have logged in. They would give a rating out of 5stars and leave a comment.

IS there software for this or does it need to be created from scratch??

    Hi Meanna

In regards to the rating and comment question, eSyndiCat can do that.
Here's a link from the demo to show you - Note the # of stars can be changed thru the admin panel.

In regards to users having to be logged in before adding a comment or rating - I'm not sure about that? Another user of the script just asked that same question today. Will have to wait until a member of the support answers that question. They are away for the weekend.

Feel free to take a look at the demo, both front end and back end.

Most of the directory scripts don't have such function, maybe you have to hire an expert to work that out.

I just took a quick look at www.ceramicartsindex.us (eSyndiCat) and I didn't see a setting to require being logged in but there are options for requiring approval. There may be a way but...
