I guess my mind leaps to the good he embodied, not the evil done to him. Sarah Palin's crowds, admittedly, are getting the taste of blood in their teeth, and she keeps blithely spewing the hatred, but I'd rather look at what JFK's ascendancy meant to a lot of people, and what Obama's does now.
LOL - no, Harold, I caught that. Homebiz has portrayed himself as a freakin' bodyguard to Obama, as well as a sort of commando in the middle east, if memory recalls, so I laugh and gloss over to the next empty point (my opinion, of course).
Why can't I go to rallies or stumps as they are called here? I like the gatherings. You can meet people like pelosia, Biden and others.
Khrushchev thought that Kennedy was weak and the US almost had WW III Iran or North Korea may decide to try Obama. Do you beleive that negociating with terrorists works?
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_IRAN?SITE=NYNYP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT You and the neocons have no idea how to resolve the Iranian problem. why don't you let smarter people deal with it. obama will call you when NCR issues arise
I'm personally less skeptical that you've seen him speak, than that you've been a member of his bodyguard entourage, buddy. Yep, and a good many more, to include Shakespearean/stage/film actor, playwright, director, more. A wanderer, actually, across a good many more lives than I've owned up to on this forum, and likely, a good many more to come, because I am just congenitally a restless spirit. Whatever I've done, whatever anyone's done, in terms of words like "trust," "respect," and so forth, I couldn't care less - in this virtual world, where none of us have the opportunity than to know a pastiche of each other's true self, all we have is what's on the page, and it is on that basis that I simply don't lend you much credibility, Biz, sorry. As it is your apparent habit to investigate the personal information of other members (as with another member on the forum), you'll forgive the arm's length admission of specifics. Feel free to doubt all that I say here, to judge as much as you would like, as well.
Can't go on this logic, Bogart. 9/11 happened at the inception of Bush's Presidency. And he utterly fucked up the response, providing the largest possible demonstration effect of our nation's exhausted imperial ability, the precise opposite of what needed to be effected, after 9/11. I don't consider that bright. McCain's toolbox is drawn from the same paradigm.
