Does anyone know a way to prevent this...

    You sell something
The person gives you the money
Later... you find out paypal gave the person their money back

I ask this because i hear that it happens a lot and im planning on starting to flip blogs/sites and sell them and i dont wanna be scammed :(

    Thanks..!

That's paypal's bad side. It will secure the buyer's transactions but never gonna secure the seller (talking always about internet/ non physical products)
Something that may secure you from being scammed is to create a donation button and say the buyer to click and pay you via that.(that's something that can't be chargedback as far as i know)

    Like Oxuro said,
Paypal always secures the buyers transactions.
Im not sure if paypal will change its ways, though a user's email.
    But you can try.

i just got off the phone with a paypal rep and they said that the only way someone can claim they money back after donating is if they prove that someone else was on their account. i then asked if having them pay via "donation" was safer and she said yes.

first of all, you have to confirm that you receive funds from the owner.

Many send from stolen accounts, whenever you think that money is not safe, you have to refund.

Just don't send the things right away. Tell your buyer that you will verify the funds. If he is real he will have no problems with it.
