A new website I am designing has a bunch of bugs I can't work out. It looks sorta okay in IE6 and IE7 but firefox, opera, IE8 etc are all sorts of screwed up. I believe I have a bunch of expanding box problems but I dont know how to fix them (total CSS noob). Every page of the site basically has something shifted out of place/ screwed up (even in IE). The more I mess with it the worse it gets so I am stopping and calling in an expert. The site is basically two or three template pages with different content on each page so it you fix one page.. you have the solution for several of the others. The site is http://www.tv-armor.com/newsite I would like to hire someone to fix up the issues, make it work right (and look the same) in all the browsers (including Crome) and replace the text/change the first page a bit with some new properly formated text I will provide. Ideally I would like someone in the US I can work with on the phone this weekend (day or evening). Its shouldnt take very long for someone skilled enough in CSS. As an added bonus - I'd like all the pages to validate xhtml complaint and CSS complaint from w3c Any takers? I could really use the help. Please PM me your offer. Thanks, Mike
i'd prefer to redo the website from scratch if possible. price is $55 and i can guarantee cross browser compatibility as well as semantic, valid and table-less code.
9+ years xhtml/css programmer I can fix this site no problem. $25 this will include all pages. But please send screenshots of what its suppose to look like and or the psd files.
though is true but it is still classified as a programming language. Although this is not only what I do I can also do php/mysql and some visual basic.
There are no conditionals, no operators, and there's really nothing but marking up content hence it stands for Hypertext Markup language and I really don't see why it would be classified as a programming language.
so much you know in order to make certain feature cross-browser conditional statements are used in xhtml files and also the css files. It may not have all the other stuff that is needed for a true program lang. but there still are feature that are used in many other lang.
I just had dangys fix up some css for me after seeing this thread. I didnt want to thread hijack tho. but he did some good work for $25!
