    Hi,
Someone from this forum sent me some money for a service on october 05 but the payment's status was Held (not completed) and then temporary hold to unauthorized (status placed).
    Look the log :
Temporary Hold To Unauthorized Oct. 5, 2008 Placed Details -$50.00 USD $2.25 USD
    Payment From ******** Oct. 5, 2008 Held Details $50.00 USD -$2.25 USD
And then i received an email that i have a dispute at Resolution Center because the payment is unauthorized by the buyer.
Look the log from resolution center:
    Temporary Hold Inquiry by PayPal ********* 41V8483630943751X Oct. 5, 2008 $50.00 USD Oct. 5, 2008 Awaiting other party's response PP-557-432-826

Today is october 10, it was passed 5 days, i contacted paypal but i didn't receive any answer.

Was i scammed by paypal ?

cosminx2003 if it is possible call paypal as soon as possible. Today is friday you have to call today otherwise their office will be closed on Saturday on Sunday. I think you have received the payment using stolen paypal that is why you got the dispute.

I will suggest you to call paypal. If you have a speedy internet then try to use internet for calling them, as they(Paypal) have dial fre number, there are a lot of software which may be used for calling purpose.

Paypal is very much secure and due to this reason they use various ways of checking accounts, and this checking creates problems for us, most of paypal users are facing problems with them, like account limitation etc.

So call on them and discuss the matter.

You weren't scammed by paypal man. You were scammed by the person who sent you money. Yes, paypal started it because they detected it as a fraudulent payment. The person who paid you scammed you.

He is new over here with No post and no itraders U wouldnt have deal with him with paypal or would have wait for 2-4 days after completion of transaction thats how we can prevent Paypal scams. Paypal is helpless to help us if we are victim of this type of digital products transactions
