I submitted to a few search engines for free but I am not sure how it works since I can't find my domain when I search in google

 

most of the search engine will take some time to approved your url, so be patience

get a couple free blogs (google and wordpress) and write articles about your forum. Write a press release about it and submit it to press release sites for more backlinks.
