Alexa Widget

    Hi,
    I'm seriously confused about this. I have two points about this, I don;t know which one is true
    If your site has alexa widget

    1) Every time a user clicks on the widget that counts in the traffic
    2) Every time when a user load the page, it counts in the traffic

    Which one is true???

    Please help me.

    Neither are true. The alexa widgets only show your alexa rank. This is tracked independantly from your website.

    Exactly. You shouldn't worry much about Alexa. There are lot of things that you should have more focus on.

    I have gone through some articles about widget, they say that the traffic has increased by 25% after showing the widget on their website.

    That seems very unlikely, either you have misunderstood the articles or the author doesn't know what he's talking about. Perhaps you couldpoint us to these articles?
