Domain Age Requirement

    Right now, I want to buy a Domain. I am only 13 years old. So will i have to use someone else's name to obtain the domain? I want to purchase from name.com

    I'm 15, no problems with buying stuff online. Like bigman said, as long as you got the (LEGAL!!!) money it won't be a problem. :)

    It really depends how you pay for it. Chances are you will have to pay by credit card or paypal and both require you to be at least 18. Of course, many young teens have a paypal account so that may not be a big deal. I do not know of an age requirement to purchase the domain itself though.

    Credit card would be a problem, but you can easily signup for paypal and verify it with your bank account and transfer money that way. You won't get banned for it or anything.

    I guess there is no age limit, I'm 14 myself, and bought my first domain when I was 13, now I have 30+ domains, and I've never hd any probs with it.

    I'm 16 and own many domains. There is no age requirement.
