Is it wrong to change the "index.html" file name?

    Hello,

    I want to change the "index.html" file name (from the public_html folder) into "mykeyword.html", in order to better seo.

    Is it wrong?

    Use either Index or Default. That's all you can do. I would keep it Index, if it were me.

    Just make sure that if you change it, you correct any links pointing to it.

    Use good keyword density on the page, good META tags (place your main keyword in the site name) and you should be fine.

    Your domain name carries the weight, so keep it index or default.

    For better seo You can also make a folder named "your keyword" and add your index file in it.
