I have been following this little "discussion" and I saw something interesting that pertains to it:

    NRA is endorsing McCain
    http://embeds.blogs.foxnews.com/2008/10/09/nra-makes-it-official-endorse-mccain-palin/

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/oct/09/national-rifle-association-endorses-mccain-1/

Not wanting to inject my opinion either way, no point since you both already have your minds made up, but I just thought it was interesting....

Yes the NRA is endorsing him based off the same flawed logic simply is invoking.

He sucks on the issues, but lets sell our our principles because he's slightly better than the other guy. Instead of supporting someone we actually support.

It does not equate to him having a good 2nd stance, simply because he's slightly less weak than the other guy.

---BTW it's reasons just like this where I come to my conclusion the NRA themselves are over time getting weaker and weaker on the 2nd and it's true meaning.

LOL - Biz - "Sources." A series of Youtube terror-fest propaganda videos, one of them by the McCain campaign itself, in goosestep with the filth put forth by the pair at their rallies; coupled with a print "source" written by Michael Reagan, eldest son of Ronald Reagan, and "columnist" for Cagle Cartoons. Mr. Reagan's reasoned line includes:

Michael Reagan was a game-show host, turned "journalist," who seems to have some serious father issues never worked out, as the adopted son of Ronald Reagan.

He's a certifiable, hate-filled lunatic (perfect for some here, apparently) - he once literally advocated putting a grenade up the rectum of children named "Hezbollah" by their mothers, and detonating it, among other precious gems of compassionate humanity:

He once called for the murder of Howard Dean, who once expressed his doubt the war in Iraq would be won. Reagan said this in response:

Many other like, vile instances. This man is infested with hate, and sadly, his hatred, his calls to murder, are very much in sympathy with the hatred being spewed by the McCain ticket itself, in this last-hour attempt to grab whatever paranoiac strains exist among the gullible portion of the American public stupid enough to buy into it.

Reagan also had this to say about John McCain, in a column entitled, "John McCain Hates Me":

(Red, to me, suggesting daddy issues. Is Reagan still your darling, Biz, and others, hoping for some traction on the Ayres bullshit?).

Lest the fellas on this forum who seem to think anyone or anything taking issue with the hatred being spewed is just some commie, here is what the Austin-American Statesman had to say about Biz's "source." It was a condemnation of Reagan, and a defense of McCain:

    http://www.statesman.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/austin/faith/entries/2008/06/23/babies_and_grenades_is_ugly_bu_1.html

Bottom line, Obama knew Ayres. BIG FUCKING DEAL. Biz tried this same crap on a thread devoted to the smear, and it didn't get any headway there, either. In that thread, Biz attempted to pick "only the juicy bits" from CNN as well, which Stroh rightly pointed out. The very CNN referenced in his post had this to say about the "Ayres Controversy":

The country is imploding, and the globe along with it, and this is all the McCain ticket and its more deluded minions want to talk about?

How horrible ! They worked on a Charity at the same time ? OMG
Just the opposite. They want McCain to keep beating the dead Horse. All he is doing is wasting precious time repeating an issue that has no legs.

(Didn't see anything but someone else's opinion. No links to facts, just accusations.)

Project ACORN is the one who caught the fraudulent applications, and now you want to blame them for paperwork that someone else turned in ? Are you serious ?
<Edited> I Mispoke. Acorn is being investigated on where the applications came from, and have launched their own investigation including firing workers. The Obama campaign has not worked with acorn on the general election. It's kind of like a company that I used to work for, screwed some employees over back wages. Has nothing to do with me, because the actions did not occur when I was a manager, that was the actions of another manager whom I have never met.</edited>

Again  Obama actually helped Americans register to vote. He is such a bad man.
That is a far cry from some of the shenanigans of the 2000, and 2004 election spear headed by the Republican Party to deny people a vote, and steal the election.

THESE ARE ACTUAL EVENTS THAT HAVE ACTUALLY HAPPENED ! When all else fails, this is how you steal an election:

    1. Home Foreclosure Victims To Lose Voting rights - NPR
    2. GOP targets Foreclosure Victims On Election Day
    3. Foreclosure Victims May Lose Right To Vote If They Don’t re-register

    * Remove , or Place Substandard Voting Machines in Heavily Democratic Area’s

    1. 3,400 Votes Missing in Florida. Recount Flips Race.
    2. Missing Votes Spark Lawsuit In Columbus Ohio
    3. Problems with Not Enough Voting Machines In Several Swing States
    4. Voters Wait Hours As Elected Officials Held back Functioning Machines

    * Remove Legally Registered Voters Who’s Names are Similar to Convicted Felons:

    1. Botched Name Purge Denies Some the right To Vote on Election Day
    2. Name Purge Knowingly Sacrificed Innocent Voters

    * Put State Election Officials In Charge of Local Campaign, while Governing State Voting Policies.

    1. High ranking Election Officials Guilty of Misconduct Regarding Recount
    2. Ohio Secretary of State Admits 2004 election Could Have been stolen
    3. Bush Money network Rooted On Florida and Texas
    4. Republicans Prevented 350,000 Voters From Casting Ballots in Ohio, - Written by Robert F Kennedy Jr

You can follow all the links to the sources here

OOOoooo, Scary Ayers. The McCain Campaign is like a magic act. Don't look directly at us, "look over here...O.K. now look back...you see...the elephant is gone."
And you guys are applauding like innocent school children....while the adults in the crowd who have seen the show countless times, were watching the Elephant the whole time..and are not impressed.

Has Mccain lost his grip on reality and crumbled under pressure?
It all started with bill graham suggesting that the problems with economy are figments of people’s imagination. After facing criticism Mccain acknowledged that there is a real problem. He went on to say that the fundamental of economy is sound. But when the things started going downhill, he tried to pretend that he was talking about the American workers. What a joke, anybody that heard him knows what he meant. Then when the financial crisis deteriorated he took the opportunity to try to divert attention from his failures by suspending his campaign and trying to reschedule the debate. Once everyone started to call him chicken, he finally showed up and lost the debate. Now if he was genuinely interested he could have gone back to DC to work on the plan, but he made it obvious that he don’t care about economy by not going to DC after the first debate. And finally Mr conservative came with the most leftist plan. Recommending that the taxpayer buy all the bad mortgages and give away all the money to people that have destroyed the economy. Talking about left and reckless.
So in the time country needed leadership. Mccain showed that he does not have the ability to lead the country out of this crisis. Not only that he also showed that he can not even put a team of experts together to advise him on these issues.
Finally he have decided that experience does not matter and since he can not claim that he has the judgment He is left with one thing, Innuendo and gossip to get the vote. Guiess what, if he wants to win the election this is not enough either. Are you going to buy the hate and fear that he is selling.

You really shouldn't stress so much, even if McCain gets elected you won't loose your welfare or SSI benefits you live on. You may not get any more benefits from him, but you won't lose anything you already have. McCain is somewhat liberal, so that should make you happy as well. At least with McCain we won't become any more socialistic than we are now, but if the big O got in, it would be only a notch better than hilary's communistic plan.

1-he knows how to give info to enemy. don't forget about his history
2-he don't think you are worth the time.
3-he has lost his mind. it might be because of his experience in prison.or the shock of losing to "that one"
4-Immigration and Mccain Feingold comes to mind He wants to be a liberal like me.
    5-just the Vietcong and separatists[AIP].
6-except when he put the country in the back seat to make room for the headless moose.
7-but he is for killing them when they grow up by sending them to 100 year wars.
8-talks loud and has a small dic-k. he is going to be putin's bitch. Mccain couldn't even handle Barbara Walters..
    9-by giving them amnesty
10-18billion in saving but wants to give 300 billion tax to exxon and exxon like companies.

Great list. Obama getting the democratic nod shows the world how much the values of the United States has deteriorated.

This is the only thing worth commenting on.

The man had his bones, broke and re-broke. And it took a series of this before he would say a thing. You would hand over anything you had as well, to say otherwise is crap. You know when a solider is tortured, its nothing like you see in the movies, they dont grin and bare it. They will try their best to withhold everything, but when it comes to having your bones re-broke, i think the man has a right to stop the pain.

He allowed others to take his place when it was time to be released.

Pretty easy for you to call him weak because he gave info after having his bones re-broke over and over again.

You should be ashamed of yourself for saying such things. but you know what. McCain fought so that you could have that right to do so.

You should be thanking him, not rebuking him.
