Gmail Limitation

If you access Gmail via POP or IMAP clients (like Microsoft Outlook), you can send an email message to a maximum of 100 people at a time. Cross the limit and your account will be disabled for a day with the error "Daily sending quota exceeded."

If you access Gmail from the browser, you may not address an email message to more than 500 people at a time. Violation of this terms means that your account may be disabled for up to 72 hours.

I need an email provider that will let me send 1000 emails per day via SMTP. Can anyone recommend a (free) service?

    at a time right?
so split your mail into 3-4 mails of 200 email ids each.
i dont think gmail has a daily limit. anyway, i have never reached it.
Not sure about any service though, if i come across anything i will PM you. (have you tried @live.com?)

Splitting emails works, however not right away. I'm not sure how long you have to wait in between sending these emails, but there is a period as emails from my exterior email sending device were rejected. So it takes up some more time and I would naturally prefer to send the email only once, not 10 times after (x) minutes.

I haven't tried live or hotmail yet, but will research more about it.

even paid hosting service, they usually offer 200-400 emails per hour to be sent on email, you need to use auto responder..

if ur publishing newsletter, i suggest you use feedburner to optimize your feed.
then you can actually archive online as well as send as newsletter.. other things, all i can think is, u r trying to send email to people who can basically put you as a spam.. better not use that way. I guess

    hope that helps

This has nothing to do with spam. After carefully reassessing my data I've come to the conclusion that a 1000+ email limit service is not necessary.

The 100 limit repeated two to three times will do the job.

Just create a few gmail accounts using proxy servers. Log into them behind a proxy server, send out some mail. Logout, switch the proxy server, log back in, send more mail. Log out...rinse repeat. Or you could just get your own hosting account with an auto responder or mail script since you are only wanting to send 1000 a day. Your own account show not get shut down for that, even if it does, it will not happen right away.
