$20 Logo Contest

Hey guys, I need a sharp logo for my new website, ArticleStud.Com. Please try to be creative with it and keep it simple at the same time. Contest will run until Oct 11 or until I find a design I like $20 bucks paypal to the winner. Contest starts now, looking forward to good entries

What i'm looking for:
Something that matches the site's layout and design and creates a unique identity for it. I will post feedback on all logos posted.

Not a bad start tightwad, dont know how I feel about the design to the left though. Not bad though.

an article abstract logo...

 

Yeah I get what you mean, like I said it's not bad at all but the logo I had in mind would ideally be short and simple, semi-corporate and possibly dealing with the word "Stud". So AKA something bold and very brandable is what I am after. Don't give me a stallion or some guy having sex with a chick though. Lol.

tightwad: better but something missing for some reason. Either way, your submission is tied for second with joidia.
Influ: your second logo looks pretty nice, the first one is to educational I think.
joidia: your second logo is on track, Id have to put it a close second.
kiku: not exactly what I'm looking for, sorry.

tightwad, I love your letters and how you laid them out, what is not doing it for me is the small logo next to them, if not you would be 1st.

tight, you are almost there bro.... maybe try incorporating a diff. variation of a small logo.

Foundation- looks good but a bit too book wormy.

 

Flames are easy... You want a Blue flame instead of the stud?

I think I know what you mean, but yeah, blue flame would seem pretty cool. Give it a shot see what happens.
