is it ok to use phpLD Template ?

    Is it ok to use phpLD Template without using their script ?

    I want to use some of their templates, but sure is it ok ?

    If you are looking to recode the whole template, then as long as you give credit to whoever designed the template, it may be ok bu t you should check in the first instance with the designer.

    As Vic said - check the TOS of the template releaser. If you still link back to the owners/sponsors you can re-code it for another script. The template owner may even pay you to do so.

    Most of the templates are designed for special directory script. Since template also has a relation with the scripting. For example, if the template of the submit page has a date field, and in the directory script there is no coding to handle this, maybe it will cause problems. If you like the phpld template and want to use it on other scripts, you shall design it yourself.

    I guess you can, but if you use the template, you need keep the template author links

    I have tryed , but i failed to use it without script( maybe i have to spend time on it, bt it is useless i guess)

    You'll have to rename the .tpl files to .html

    You'll also need to remove the smarty tags and replace them with their HTML equivalent.
