About Impressions And Earnings, Is This Right?

Hi, is been a long time since I asked questions here.

But I've been doing a lot of testing on my sites with adsense (or is it nonsense :D) and been getting different results as expected.
Even though I'm still not sure or clear on how this whole "impressions, clicks, ctr etc" works, I'm forced to asked the following questions...

On my latest testing, I show under 110 impressions with an earning of over $8.00 (hope this info is not violating anything), but is this something that can be improved (more $$ for my impressions) or leave as is for now?

    Thanks,

    Ms. Pearl :p

110 impressions and 8 $? Did you mean 110.000 maybe?

$8.00 for 110 impressions is amazing. If that's not a fluke (and those numbers are accurate) then you should just sit back and try to get more traffic instead of trying to mess with anything. Most people have a click rate of 1-5% (for every 100 impressions you'd have 1-5 clicks). Most people don't earn much per click so (again if your numbers are true) then you either have a really high click rate or a really high payment per click.

    Yes, it is 110 (not 110K) impressions at a li'l over $8.00
I'll stop testing for a while as it seems this is just right for now.
I do get big earnings on clicks ever since I started promoting my "credit" site combined with my Real Estate site. So I guess is a good mix.

I'll focus on getting traffic from now on.

    Thanks,

It seems a bitlow to me, but it all depends on the niche you are in...

finance plus real estate would be a good mix to have in terms of cost per click. You're click rate must be pretty good as well though. Good luck and let us know what your earnings are when you hit 200 impressions

Finance is always having higher paying keywords and check out my blog in sig and I am very happy with the eCPM I get for this blog.

Actually, this is the first day having the Real Estate & Finance combo and so far today my impressions are at 308 and my earnings are at $15.07 ( I have a few more hours to go for the end of the day)

I've noticed something kinky though, some of the adsense on my page shows this little grocery cart on them... what in the world is that? Is it a test only ad? I honestly never noticed them before until now.

Anyway that's my report so far for the first day of my combo test ;)

    HAHAHA!!

Well today is a little different, so far I have 200 impressions and only $8.45 earnings.
More impressions than before at 110 impressions and $8.05 earnings .. oh well is still good considering I've been qualified to get paid since week 3 from starting with Adsense and been qualified for payment every month since
