Anyone doing alright with electric cars? I heard they top out at 50 mph, in which case I wouldn't promote it cos that's just ridiculous. This a rumor?

Electric "cars" is a marketing thing. It probably wouldn't be cool if they said Electric "Golf Cart".

The electric car stuff is hardly an attempt to replicate the success of the water car. But frankly it can never be too much of a success since they are totally different. Running a car on water is a thing, running a car on electricity require lot of skills and lot of modifications to your car (and costy parts)

The water car was successfuly because it was simple (or at least pictured as simple) - just put a jar of water and thats it. It had got lot of publicity from the media as well...

A bette idea (and probably more doable) would be to run a car on beer or pee :D lol

I'm not sure if it's true, but I've heard that they can be pretty fast, depending on how you modify the engine. And even used for proper drag racing

A battery or whatever they got, it can modified, isn't it? Meaning more power = more speed.

Now guys, am I being cynical here, but who cares if they work or not. I'm not going to buy one or convert one, but I believe (hopefully) that many others will want to try this. My only worry is refunds. I mean I promote P3nis extenders but i dont need one..ahem!
