Hello ! I received an email an hour ago...it made me crazy and I clicked the link which was given in... it was a Blunder .. Just want to inform you all - if you have received an e-mail from pay pal (which is not) then BEWARE...this is web forgery..DON't CLICK the given link. [/URL] It is always good to set your security preferences at top. Cheers- Umesh
I got one from HSBC and Abbey, even though im not with them... Just ignore all those emails, their going out to everyone. Hotmail is warning all their users about them.
Make one habit that never click any link provided by any email from any payment processors or banks. Always login to your finance related site by opening new site in new browser by typing url yourself for your own safety. DON.
I get emails like that all the time. If you're unsure as to whether or not it's real, use common sense. Never, ever click on any link from that email. Instead, open up another browser and visit paypal manually to see whether or not your account is limited. The other day I even got an email claiming to be from paypal, telling me that "As of 'OKtober', my account is suspended." Apparently scammers can't even spell the names of months correctly.
Nice catch Didn't notice this. Thx. for sharing this, I really did't ever notice this.. PayPal always call by name. I am sure many people will benefit of this post. It was for the first time I received this kind of mail .. but now I see there are many others who keep receiving such kind of mails means I am not alone Moral of the story is - never ever click on any link (related to paypal) in any mail,,directly access your account by visiting the site.
Yeah I have had this in the past...have had things claiming there is an issue with my bank account for companies that I have never been a member with. Best, generally, to go straight to the company's website rather than through any emails
Don't fall prey to the phishing attack and should you part with your password, you will loose all the hard earned money in no time. I used to get such phishing mails earlier, but not these days. Scammers aim for the gullible people mostly. Beware...
